More discus eggs!

If you read Jeff’s post Fish Out of water Christmas Miracle Early?, you’ll know that Papa Discus had a harrowing ordeal after he jumped out of the fish tank on Friday.

Fortunately, he seems to be doing well, and he and Mama discus even laid eggs yesterday.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the fish to make sure there aren’t any birth defects as a result of the ordeal, but so far everything looks great.

I’m so glad that he’s ok, because I really didn’t think he would make it, especially since we think he was out of water for 30 minutes.

Once we put him in the tank he swam upside down, and with his face facing the bottom of the tank for about 30 minutes, but after that he was fine.

It truly was a miracle.
