The Minnesota Killie Keepers Association invite you to attend our 15th annual Show & Auction weekend.
Held September 13th & 14th at the Canterbury Inn in Shakopee, MN. Admission is FREE. We are an
affiliate of the American Killifish Association & the show is AKA sanctioned. The show averages around
200 pairs of killifish for judging, & many are auctioned on Sunday.Saturday the fishroom will be open for viewing until 5:00 P:M. Killie breeders from out of state bring
in several boxes of pairs that they have bred & raised. These pairs are for sale on Saturday only. Many
experienced killifish breeders will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the killifish
hobby.Sunday we will have Jim Gasior, one of the most experienced killifish hobbyists in the country do a power
point killie talk presentation. His talk will speak to beginners, intermediates, & expert killie breeders alike.
Jim has 42 years in the aquarium hobby, 32 years have been devoted exclusively to killifish. Jim has an
AKA record of 5 consecutive years of taking 1st place in the Killifish Exhibitor of the year award for showing fish. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to hear Jim’s talk.
After Jim’s talk we will have the awards presentation, then the huge killifish & plants auction. During the
auction we will also raffle off 24 feet of table space of aquarium mfgs. dontated hard goods, including a 55
gallon tank, top, & light.Both Saturday & Sunday there will be a killifish supplies table with lots of items for sale including live
cultures with directions & someone to answer any questions you might have.Come and see the most colorful fresh water fish family in the world, rarely seen in any fish stores. You can
purchase pairs on Saturday, or bid for pairs on Sunday at the auction. This is only a once a year event, so
don’t miss this opportunity.Any new one year $10.00 membership receives a FREE pair of easy to breed killifish & will receive a

How does one buy Killie fish, the lfs store here has never heard of them. I think they would be a great addition to my sons 37 and my daughters 2.5.
