Fish Update
Posted by Sarah on September 24, 2008
All of the fish are doing well in their new homes.
We haven’t seen any eggs lately, and it looks like the Australian Desert Goby eggs fungused.
We do have at least 10 BN pleco fry that seem to be doing great.
We’ve had a lot less losses since we put a piece of Mopani Driftwood
in the tank, and removed two subadult BN plecos from the tank.
And boy did those subadults grow.
I think they quadrupled their size within two weeks of us moving them from the 20 to the 55.
I guess size does matter!
Jeff also got a Coralife Super Luft Air Pump to power the sponge filters for the aquariums in the new fish room, and it’s working great.
Hopefully I can get him to come over here and tell you about it soon.
